The four main branches of anthropology are:
- Cultural Anthropology – Studies human cultures, beliefs, practices, and social behaviors, often through ethnographic research.
- Archaeology – Examines past human societies by analyzing material remains, such as artifacts, architecture, and environmental data.
- Biological (or Physical) Anthropology – Focuses on human evolution, genetics, primatology, and biological diversity among human populations.
- Linguistic Anthropology – Investigates how language influences and reflects social life, culture, and human communication.
Each branch contributes to a holistic understanding of humanity, past and present.
